The Next, NEXT Chapter:
After a lot of prayer and seeking the Lord, Licia and I have decided to make the move back to our home in Frisco. We left only 5 months ago, believing the Lord had called us to Springfield, Missouri, and James River Assembly. It was a great time for our family. We grew closer to each other, have re-focused our priorities and we want to all live and exhibit the changed life of the believer thru Christ Jesus.
To sum up our move from Frisco and Prestonwood Church, it was all about obedience. We sensed that the Holy Spirit was calling us, nudging us, and we finally had to obey. When Licia and I discuss our decision, we seem to often come back the story of Abraham obeying the Lord to offer Isaac as a sacrifice. We, like Abraham, had no idea how the Lord would lead and provide. We were scared, excited, fretful...but we took a giant leap of faith and headed to Missouri. I want to thank Randy Quackenbush of James River Assembly, for taking me in as a friend, inviting me to be part of his ministry family at JRA, and praying with and for me during the whole process. He has been a spiritual light and sounding board throughout our last few months. I will be praying for him and his family in their awesome new journey in the Lord.
In mid-June, we'll be packing up the $*^)_%* moving van, to journey HOME. The girls are very excited, have called, emailed, text, and IM'd all of their friends. Their cell phones have been burning up the towers for a week, now. We'll move back into our home in Frisco...that wouldn't sell...we're counting this as a neat blessing...
The bible talks about the safety and wisdom in an abundance of council. Trust me on this...I have sought council, and have worn out more than one friends ear. Through all of this, I have the sense that the Lord is preparing us for a greater challenge, a greater ministry focus. I want to lived a changed life because of Christ in me. I want fruit to be evident in all of our lives. That, is done only if the Holy Spirit is allowed to move and operate in our lives. Galatian 5:22 says the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, patience, gentleness and self control. If we are not exhibiting those traits, we are not living the changed life in Christ Jesus. I require much self examination on this matter, and often, at that.
We're looking forward to hugging lots of necks upon our return.

In January, i traveled to Nashville to record my second album. I know that the Lord has His hand in this endeavor and I am excited about the prospects of offering this worship to new congregations and people wherever the Lord allows and leads.
